Slow-cooked Ham Roast with Sweet Honey Nutmeg Glaze
This delicious recipe is a family favorite that we enjoy every Easter with family. We are sure it will be the perfect addition to your Easter table as well!

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°F.
  2. Place the ham in a deep roasting pan.
  3. Pour apple cider into the pan until it reaches about 1 inch up the sides of the ham.
  4. Roast for 6 hours, uncovered.
  5. Increase oven temperature to 500°F for the final 5–10 minutes, keeping a close eye as the skin crisps and begins to crackle.
  6. Remove the ham from the oven and let it rest for 20 minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve warm with Sweet Honey Nutmeg Glaze.

Sweet Honey Nutmeg Glaze

In a small saucepan, warm 1 cup of honey over low heat. Stir in ½ teaspoon nutmeg until fragrant. Drizzle over sliced ham or serve on the side.
